You reached me when you said you consider yourself a writer rather than a marketer these days. After twenty years of tech marketing, I no longer sell myself as a marketing guy. I’m a writer and my writing has to add value, tell a story, and help people solve problems, whether they are business problems or personal challenges (they are often more interrelated than you’d think!). I started as a writer, and have always written, but now I’m back to understanding the core value I bring to my clients. And I’m happier for it. And, btw, writing on a variety of subjects on Medium has been a factor in this change. I’m not here to build a huge following or make big bucks (not much of that actually going on). I just like seeing people respond to my writing. Thanks.

Former software marketer. Former musician. Writer, nine non-fiction books, two novels, Buddhist, train lover. Amateur cook, lover of life most of the time!
