Why No Republican Will Win The Presidency in 2024
It’s going to be numerically impossible
As I mentioned in a previous article, the changing demographics of the voting population are going to doom the right if they continue their absurd and dangerous culture wars.
An estimated 52 million new Gen Z voters will have entered the electorate by the 2024 election while huge numbers of boomers will leave it. These new young voters are hyper aware of the future, don’t care about things like non-traditional gender issues, and want to see new blood in American politics. Younger, more diverse, and more active blood.
But the GOP is still serving up old white people fears of those different than some kind of non-existent American ideal. It is as if they are intentionally offending as many voters as possible. Either this or they still believe they have something resembling a silent majority.
I have news for them. There is no silent majority, despite their attempts to rig the system to empower one. The problem is they are so bad at it.
The Dems face a different challenge, to bring those Gen Z voters into the fold, and that has its own set of challenges, beginning with things like Joe Biden’s age and the perception (accurate) that all politicians have contributed to letting climate change sweep…
