When Things Are Going South, Just Cheat
Just rig the election, why not?
This is what happens when a President has no oversight and his minions are perfectly willing to do anything to keep him in power. Trump demanded election redistricting in Texas to give him a cushion of five more House seats in the state. And of course Texas Republicans immediately moved to obey.
And Democratic state representatives left the state to make that impossible because there was no quorum as required before a vote can be held. This has happened before and it has limited power to stop the election rigging. But this time it’s different as national Democrats and blue state governors move to do their own redistricting in big states like Indiana, Illinois, New York, California, and others.
The real news here is that this represents the true beginning of the midterms wars and it is going to be vicious and ugly. but there is good news for anti-Trump Americans. The Democrats are in a fighting mood across the country and that mood is growing, finally.
While Trump constantly declares victories across the board, he is the one losing on every front despite ignoring the law and the courts, building an anonymous police state, using skin color to determine who should be arrested, using tariffs to extort our allies and an endless litany of failing actions…
