Someone finally said it
Today the governor of my state, New York, announced a masking mandate for any public indoor space that does not require proof of vaccination. The numbers are going up and it is because of the utter stupidity and selfishness of those who won’t get a vaccine that we know is completely safe and protects others.
I am totally pissed off by these morons. This is not subject to discussion or respecting your belief system. The fact is that with not one, not two, but three highly effective vaccines, things are going downhill again because of stupid people.
It is time to say what Fran said. She went on to say that we always knew there were ignorant people, but we just didn’t know how many of them there were around. You know who you are and you should be ashamed. In fact, I think you should be arrested for endangering the welfare of others.
Here’s a fact, just one. Every state in the union has had vaccine mandates for over fifty years and you anti-vaxxers have been vaccinated many times whether you wanted to be or not. It was what a society does to protect itself from horrible disease and mass death.
It occurs to me that maybe those old vaccines did have a negative side effect. Maybe they made a whole lot of us stupid and selfish. That’s a theory I guess.
If you don’t like wearing masks and having restrictions and you are not vaccinated, you only have yourselves to blame. That’s reality and I know you don’t like reality. Tough cookies, you’re nothing but a bum and you know it.
