The average Medium writer publishes four articles a year. According to a recent article from Medium Creators, in the past year there were around 2 million articles published by around a half million writers on Medium.

Which tells me that only a few of us represent the vast majority of publishing here. All of the most successful writers, based on Followers, are publishing hundreds of articles annually on a wide range of topics.
