Nice piece, well thought out. I meditate every day and mine is also based in Buddhist thought. When I’m sitting on my cushion, surrounded by the things in my life, I’m often reflecting on desire, the cause of suffering. Desire is not about material possessions, it is about wanting material possessions and, in the process, sometimes turning other people into material possessions. It’s a loop and my daily sitting breaks that loop. Each day’s practice reminds me that everything is ungraspable illusion, so why keep trying to grab things!
