Inauspicious Beginnings: Sleeping Into the New Year

I slept in this morning, really late, noonish. I’m not big on omens, but I do think I was exhausted by December, omicron, holidays, etc. And now another year looms ahead.

It doesn’t help that it is a foggy day outside, grey and muted. I’d prefer that the year not reflect its beginning. I don’t think any of us need another foggy, muted year.
