I’m 64 and no longer own a car, so I walk a lot. I recently bought a fitness tracker watch (Withings HR Sport Steel), so I now know how much I actually walk (averaging about 9000 steps daily without intentionally trying to hit a number). I’m surprised one of the big providers of these devices is not publishing data on usage- they have it. If they built an anonymous poll into their apps to establish a health baseline, we could have numbers on a much larger scale. Would not be surprised if this is coming…
