I started experimenting with short form pieces in December. It’s my slowest month by far and I decided to hold some longer articles back to publish in January when things start to pick up. This gave me an inventory of stuff to start the new year with, a nice bonus.

I’ve published eight short forms in the past month. I like writing them because they’re a chance to put a thought or comment out there quickly without a big investment in time. And they get read because they’re…short. They are not very lucrative so far, but I expected that. Payments here are based on read time and they don’t offer much.
