I, For One, Am Sick of Looking At Trump’s Face

And I don’t think I am the only one

Why are these people angry all the time? A whole family of rich, privileged, angry people surrounded by more ass-kissing angry people. Scowling, stern, beady-eyed, smiling but looking like he just ate a baby…these shots grace my news every morning and evening. I simply don’t get the appeal.

It’s easy to go off on a tirade about these people. After all, his own health advisor, Dr. Deborah Birx, recently said over 200,000 Americans may have died unnecessarily because he hid the truth about the pandemic. Because he knew it would hurt his chances of re-election. Think about that. 200,000, maybe more, people died because he wanted to win an election.

And there was that inciting an insurrection thing. But for some reason a guy who would generally be considered a murderous criminal in any civilized society, gets a pass from the Republican Party. Because he can deliver a boatload of racist votes.

This is a problem for the GOP. Because those votes may constitute a mythological number of actual voters. They’ve lost youth. They’ve lost college-educated white women. Corporate donors are very uncomfortable handing money out to people who incite riots and spread conspiracy theories about the election (which he lost by seven million+ votes…
