Given the death this week of a young Australian woman obsessed with Instragram fame from eating too much protein powder and the rise of body syndromes involving obsessions with working out to the exclusion of everything else, I’d sound a cautionary note. This trend seems to be a possible result of too many people sitting at desks and not getting normal exercise from physical work. It’s a societal problem, not a panacea cured by a bucket of dried whey.
