20,000 words is not a book. The average book starts at 85000 words. I only mention this because those 20000 words are relatively easy to sustain. Getting to 85000 is a whole different thing. It requires you to think on a bigger scale than simply linking a bunch of pieces together. But that work will make you a far better writer.
